• Email is the most common way to market to customers, followed by website and social media. Almost 50 percent of respondents ranked email as the primary marketing method, while 30 percent primarily use a website.
• Urgent communications are primarily announced via social media (75 percent of responses) and websites (over 70 percent of responses).
• Almost 40 percent of respondents say they primarily use email for in-house communications; text or instant message is also common at almost 30 percent.
• Business communications are primarily done by email on a desktop or laptop computer. In-person is the second-most preferred method, followed by smartphone.
