IRS updating its transcript delivery system

Fresh on the heels of a redesign of its website, the Internal Revenue Service said it is also updating its Transcript Delivery System. The new system for delivering tax transcripts will have an updated look and feel, along with new functionality. The implementation date for the new TDS is Oct. 17, 2011. More

The brilliant, awe-inspiring billionaire, the co-founder of Apple, Steve Jobs has passed at the age of 56. There still are no reports of his estate plan, but one can safely presume that it was well thought out. There have been some articles criticizing Jobs' supposed lack of charitable giving. Now we should be able to tell whether he donated a good portion of his estate to charity in the manner Warren Buffett has promoted. It is important to note that charitable giving can be made during life or at death. More

Struggling to deliver the big jobs package proposed by President Barack Obama, Senate Democrats are using the issue to force Republican senators to vote on tax increases for millionaires, picking up on a White House theme that the nation's wealthiest Americans aren't paying their fair share.
