Academy Seeks Applications for Education Coordinator Share ![]() ![]() ![]()
The AAO-HNS Foundation Board of Directors is seeking applicants to serve as Board Coordinator for Education. If elected by the Board, the Coordinator will serve a single four-year term of office, from October 1, 2011, through September 30, 2015. For a more detailed description of the role and a listing of qualifications and expectations, visit the Academy's website. Interested applicants are invited to submit a letter summarizing your qualifications, a curriculum vitae, and letters of recommendation to ichavez@entnet.org no later than midnight, March 31, 2010. Final applicants will be invited to participate in interviews during May 2010. Notification will be made by June 30, 2010.

On March 9, 2010, otolaryngologists from across New York were joined by representatives from the AMA and MSSNY to meet with state legislators to urge support for A.10056. The bill would open up physician offices as a place for hearing-impaired patients to access hearing aids.
