  • AOPA and ACA Advertisement Debuts in National Publications
    The co-branded AOPA and Amputee Coalition of America public outreach campaign debuted its national advertisements last week. PSA placements given to the AOPA and ACA spots, as a result of and in addition to paid placement, appeared in several major publications including Time, Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report, Sports Illustrated and The Week. The advertising placements targeted and vital legislative, business, and media markets including Washington D.C., Seattle, New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, St. Louis, Dallas, and Houston. In total, the ads were placed extensively in the United States and delivered to an aggregate circulation of 2,312,880 subscribers. Click here to see a PDF copy of the ad.

    Prosthetic Alignment System to be Made in Oklahoma

    Production of the Compas system is scheduled to begin in about a month, after Orthocare relocates its research and development laboratory from Seattle, company officials said. The company's new corporate headquarters also will be in Oklahoma City. More

    Raising Money and Awareness for Amputees
    from Atlantic County Woman
    Sherri started her own Amputee Support Group, "One Step at a Time," to encourage and educate fellow amputees to adjust to this new life style. She holds a monthly meeting every second Wednesday of each month at The Health Center at Galloway, N.J. Through the assistance of the Amputation Coalition of America she is now seeking ways to raise funds for individuals to afford the high cost of a prosthetic device. More
