Modern Traditional Tops the List of 2015 Kitchen Trends

The buzz at this year's Consumer Electronics Show was once again all about the Internet of Things, including a new array of smartphone-operated appliances. But according to designers, aesthetics — not gadgets — is what's on the minds of consumers looking to upgrade or renovate their kitchens in 2015. Topping the list is the trend toward "modern traditional," a cross between urban sophistication and country comfort.

Discover Design Psychology at the National Building Museum on January 28

Healthcare Design Conference Deadline for Proposals Is January 30
The 2015 Healthcare Design Conference (HCD) will take place November 14-17 in Washington, D.C. The conference offers attendees state-of-the-art, multi-track, multi-disciplinary sessions and access to the latest and best educational content in healthcare design. New Energy Efficiency Standards for Fluorescent Lamps
