Nominations Now Open: 2015 ASID National Awards
Do you know someone whose work should be recognized? Throughout the month of December, you have the opportunity to nominate a deserving designer, firm, or yourself for the Society’s four prestigious national awards:
  • Designer of Distinction: Recognizes an ASID professional member who exemplifies a commitment to excellence in design and demonstrates an attention to social concerns within the profession.
  • Design for Humanity: Celebrates an individual or institution for having significantly contributed to improving the human experience through environmentally friendly and wellness-focused interior design projects or activities.
  • Design Innovation: Recognizes work that positively impacts human behavior; promotes comfort, efficiency, or communication; exemplifies a commitment to the profession and to sustainability, health, and wellness; and displays an overall appreciation for design.
  • Nancy Vincent McClelland Merit: Pays tribute to the work and accomplishments of Nancy Vincent McClelland, an ardent advocate for professional recognition in the interior design field and the first woman president of an earlier iteration of the Society.
Simply complete a short online form to nominate, and ASID will invite eligible candidates to submit their portfolios. Award winners will be honored at Celebration: The ASID Awards Gala, July 18, 2015, in Boston. Remember: Nominations close Jan. 5, so don't delay.
