ATTP Launches New Logo and Website

The Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP) is pleased to announce the launch of its new logo and redesigned website. The focus of the device-responsive redesign was to provide a more streamlined application system and support social media tools to publish technology transfer news and promote ATTP and the global Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) designation conferred by ATTP.

An expanded and updated FAQ section, along with an improved guide to the RTTP application routes, helps registrants more quickly prepare successful RTTP applications. A new feature allows RTTP applicants to track the status of their application during the review process.

Collaboration Brings Orphan Drug to Big Pharma
AUTM
Throwing his whole "heart and science" into sickle cell disease (SCD), Donald Abraham, a Virginia Commonwealth University researcher, may have beat the odds and discovered a treatment for this rare-but-debilitating condition. The therapeutic, called Aes-103, started a Phase II trial in 2013. In addition to bringing hope to the 100,000 Americans who suffer from SCD, the treatment’s success also included unique business model that could be used for other orphan diseases.
