What advice would you give to someone starting out in your industry? Develop relationships, true relationships, with those you work for and with. Nurture those relationships. AND, always take care of your folks!
What is your favorite quote? "Semper Gumby – Forever maintain a rigid state of flexibility" (Gumby is an American clay animation franchise (1956), centered on a green clay humanoid character created and modeled by Art Clokey per Wikipedia for all of the young folks in the room.)
What is something most people don't know about you? I once dressed as Frankenfurter from the Rocky Horror Picture Show (yes, in lingerie) and sang the song "Sweet Transvestite" in front of a couple hundred people in the pursuit of a case of beer (don't judge, I was in college and a case of Milwaukee's Best was a treasure then).

A district judge has ordered City Council to put a petition on the November ballot that, if passed, would require Land Development Code rewrites, such as CodeNEXT, to be approved by voters.
The judge ruled that Council has a duty to put the measure on the ballot in November.
To be clear, voters will not be weighing in on CodeNEXT in November. They will be voting on whether to require a vote on such development code rewrites.
The city had argued that it was illegal to put zoning measures on the ballot.

In 2017, retail e-commerce grew 16 percent to $453 billion, and it now accounts for 9 percent of all sales. Furthermore, two-thirds of millennials prefer online shopping to brick and mortar stores.
