In the wake of HeartBleed and the numerous recent privacy breaches that have created growing concerns, the need for professionalism and ethics in IT has never been higher.
We live in a highly connected world where technology has become the central nervous system of our modern society. Technology has changed our world for the better, but technology also has fantastic potential for misuse as far too regularly witnessed. Technology professionals and future business leaders must therefore actively contribute and commit to ethical conduct regarding the data, systems, and IP they influence.

Yasas V. Abeywickrama was recognized in 2003 by CIMA (U.K.) as an up and coming business leader for the future. In 2009 he was named the Young Professional of the Year by Professions Australia. In 2011, Yasas was recognized with a TOYP award (Ten Outstanding Young Persons).
Yasas has enjoyed a distinguished career thus far, working in the U.K., U.S.A., Sri Lanka and Australia in project management, business analysis, consulting and training, and later emerged as an entrepreneur. He has also been trained in the U.S.A., Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
Amazon wants to set the smartphone market on Fire

Well, we knew that it was coming: Amazon has now increased its very own Android-powered device lineup by one, count 'em, one new smartphone, and it's called the Fire phone.
Like the company's Kindle Fire tablet, the newly-announced Fire phone is built on a modified version of Android; this new phone runs Fire OS 3.5.0, which is customized specifically for the handset. Almost certainly, the customization is as much for the software as it is to power up the new phone's hardware wingding.
