Fort Irwin, Calif., to build $400 million hospital

Fort Irwin, Calif., expects to break ground this summer on a new $400 million hospital, which will replace the post's current 40-year-old facility. Construction on the 216,000-square-foot hospital should begin in June and wrap up by summer 2015, according to Col. Michael Kiefer, Fort Irwin's Medical Department Activity commander. More
