Did You Know? We Know Where You Can Use Design-Build
DBIA
DBIA members have access to our updated State Statute Report (SSR), a valuable tool that details design-build laws throughout the United States. The SSR guides owners, practitioners and industry professionals in their project delivery decision making by providing detailed information on design-build laws and requirements in each state.

The majority of states now allow design-build for almost any project, but the SSR can tell you what kinds of limitations are in place or which agencies have full authority and which have limited authority. Our popular maps give you a quick view of which states allow design-build, but the SSR gives the specific details both owners and practitioners will want to know before considering a design-build project.

The report is updated regularly and is available on the State Advocacy section of our website, click here to view.

CBO: Six-Year Transit Bill Would Cost $100 Billion More
The Hill
The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is forecasting that the six-year transportation bill would require almost $100 billion in new revenue to maintain current levels of federal road and transit spending. The current surface transportation bill, which included about $54 billion in infrastructure spending per year, is scheduled to expire in September. The measure was funded in part by $35 billion per year that is generated by the 18.4-cents-per-gallon federal gas tax, which has traditionally been the main source Congress uses to pay for transportation projects.
