U.S. Department of Energy, NREL: IT sustainability case study

The U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory designed the Research Support Facility to demonstrate that a large office building could lead the way in energy efficiency. To support the energy efficiency goals of the building, NREL's Information Services Office pursued ways to minimize energy use both at the desktop level and in the data center, housed in the RSF.

Opus Design Build to build 40,000-square-foot warehouse addition for Minnesota manufacturer

Minnetonka, Minn.-based Opus Design Build, L.L.C. has been awarded a contract from Chicago Tube & Iron in Eagan, Minn., for a 40,000-square-foot warehouse addition. The project has received final city approval and is scheduled to break ground in May.

We've streamlined the process to make it easier to complete entries and added a Team Performance section, so read the information for entering carefully. Projects must have been completed and occupied by the owner after March 31, 2010. Entries from outside the U.S. - both projects and firms - are welcome. The deadline for entering is May 21, 2013.
