Four teams make finals for I-4's $2.1 billion makeover

Four teams made up of some of the largest companies in the world are in the final running for the $2.1 billion makeover of Interstate 4 through Metro Orlando, state officials said recently. Three other consortia was eliminated during a scoring and ranking session conducted by Florida Department of Transportation officials. More than 100 people representing the bidders watched.

Consortium wins contract for $1.2 billion rail project
Airport World
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority has selected the Capital Rail Constructors joint venture for the next phase of the $1.2 billion Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project. Parsons is serving as the lead designer for Phase II: Package A of the project, which will extend the Metrorail system from Wiehle Avenue, in Fairfax County, Virginia, another 11.4 miles northwest, through Washington Dulles International Airport, to a terminus in eastern Loudoun County.
