Tampa International Airport Main Terminal Modernization moves ahead with enhanced changes in Florida
Tampa International Airport has continued to move forward with its complete redesign of the terminal as it awarded the design-build contract for the Main Terminal Modernization project to Hardin Construction Company. "The main terminal facility has been refurbished in the past," said AirportCEO Joe Lopano, "but this project is so much more. This redesign is an upgrade to both form and function that will preserve the ambiance of the main terminal while significantly enhancing the customer experience." More
Florida's Corry Station is going green

A Jacksonville, Fla., company has been awarded a $14.7 million Navy contract to renovate a building at Corry Station using green-building features. The use of a two-story office building is changing to accommodate a different administrative use at Corry Station, which is part of Pensacola Naval Air Station. The contractor, Sauer Inc. of Jacksonville, will renovate the 35,000-square-foot building into new office and data center spaces. More

We received a variety of questions about the use of the current forms and addressed a few of these questions for your information. In addition, the DBIA Contract Document Taskforce has graciously agreed to provide additional forms based on feedback from DBIA members and customers. (This will not be a wholesale revision to the new documents.) The Taskforce will be led by Robynne Thaxton-Parkinson, DBIA, who served on the 2010 Task force that revised the documents.
