DBIA seeks industry experts to help guide organizational transformation
DBIA    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
DBIA approaches our 20-year anniversary at a time when political and economic uncertainty is the norm and the pace of technological and social change has accelerated. While such an environment can create disillusionment with strategic planning, the DBIA board and staff leadership could not be more energized about the opportunities that lie ahead for the organization and, more importantly, the members we serve. Beyond examining our past and present and making informed assumptions about the future, we used our recent strategic planning process as an opportunity to more appropriately target DBIA resources, reshape programs and services and transform other critical aspects of our operations to set the stage for achieving the aggressive goals put forth. For more details of the plan, and to submit an application of interest to be part of the 2013 Industry Expert committee structure, see the DBIA website. Please respond by Nov. 26. More

In order for you to receive the information so vital to our membership, we need to have your current (and correct) contact information. If you've moved, been promoted or had any other change in this information, let us know - check your member profile online by logging into the DBIA website and making any changes. If you have a problem, or need your login information, contact the Membership Department at membership@dbia.org or call 202-682-0110.

Do you know about all your member benefits?
DBIA    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
As a member, you're probably aware of the information we send out - this e-newsletter is one source and our journal, Integration Quarterly, another. One of these is access to epipeline – a source of information on upcoming government contracts. Contact Sean Campbell at epipeline, sean.campbell@epipeline.com for information on accessing this information.

For example, if you're an Industry Partner member contact, you can nominate one owner for a free one-year individual membership. They'll receive all the benefits of DBIA membership – it's a good way to encourage an owner who already appreciates the benefits of design-build or educate one who's still undecided. And, for owners you'd like to encourage or educate or provide a networking opportunity, DBIA conferences offer some owners a scholarship to help them defray the costs of attending one of the conferences we offer every year.
