DNA sampling measure awaits President's signature

The Senate cleared a bill Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, that would provide grants to states to collect DNA from those charged with felonies. The chamber gave unanimous consent to send the measure (HR6014) to President Obama for his signature. The House passed the bill by voice vote Dec. 18. More
