New Era Tickets, the full-service ticketing division of Comcast-Spectacor, announced the hiring of Michael Ruppert as the company's director of new business development.
Ruppert will identify and cultivate new client partnerships and other strategic business opportunities for New Era Tickets. In addition, he will work closely with clients after the sales cycle to ensure expectations are exceeded.
Ruppert joins New Era Tickets after serving as director of patron services for The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, located in Las Vegas. During the year-long buildup to the opening of The Smith Center, Ruppert implemented and managed all ticketing, fundraising and marketing systems. He also was responsible for recruiting and training over 100 team members, all instilled with the philosophy of exceptional customer service that Ruppert brought to The Smith Center.

Ruppert comes to New Era Tickets after having spent over 14 years with Paciolan Inc. He held numerous senior level positions, including director of product management, director of customer support, senior implementation project manager and senior business consultant.
