• Game development education as STEAM

Girl Scouts should always "be prepared." And through a pilot patch program, the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles will learn how to make video games and earn a Video Game Design patch so they will be prepared for a future in STEM.

Chinese culture minister: Games that don't conform to Chinese culture standards 'don't have a chance'

While the Chinese government recently announced that it would temporarily lift a 14 year ban on consoles within the region, the rules the country's culture ministries will put in place will make it hard for Chinese gamers to play anything that might be found by government censors to be offensive or culturally unacceptable. What is and isn't offense or culturally acceptable to the Chinese government is unknown because the rules haven't been written yet.
