IGDA Developer Satisfaction Survey: Launching Monday, 17 March
IGDA
The IGDA exists to advance the careers and enhance the lives of game developers worldwide. To aid us in doing this, on Monday, 17 March we are launching an annual Developer Satisfaction Survey to update our knowledge of the current demographic composition of the video game industry, understand general quality of life and gauge developers’ overall satisfaction with the state of the game industry and where it’s going. The results of this survey will be released by E3 (early June) and will be used to assess the overall state of developers’ quality of life, diversity in the industry, and job satisfaction in order to inform the IGDA on areas of action. For 2014 only, the survey also includes additional questions that reflect our Quality of Life survey conducted in 5 year intervals (2004, 2009, etc.). For more information, visit http://www.igda.org/?page=surveys.

Why has the South Park: Stick of Truth game been censored in Europe?
The Guardian
South Park: The Stick of Truth is a great game — that’s certainly something most reviewers have agreed on. Developed by veteran studio Obsidian Entertainment, responsible for a range of successful adventure titles, and written by South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, it is easily the most faithful tie-in with the scurrilous animated series.
