Executive Director blog: We're only getting started
IGDA
On 17 Dec. 2012, I stepped into the role of Executive Director of the IGDA, and it's truly hard to believe that an entire year has already passed! With that being the case, I'd like to take a moment to reflect on the past year just a bit.

Even so, we endured, we learned valuable lessons and we continued onward with the mission of the IGDA.

OUYA benefit correction
OUYA
In last week's mailer, we stated that the OUYA discount is available to IGDA members in North America. OUYA and the IGDA apologize for this error. Through 31 Dec., OUYA is offering US-based IGDA members a discount on OUYA for $89.99 with free shipping*.

Click here for information on redeeming this and other member discounts (requires log in).

* A message from OUYA: Currently, this deal is only available to US-based developers. We are so sorry that we can’t offer this discount globally before the holidays, but due to VAT, taxation, and shipping logistics, it’s taking us longer than we hoped to get it set up. We are currently working on an e-commerce solution for the rest of the world, and hope to have this live by the new year. If you know now that you’ll absolutely want an OUYA please register here and we promise to let you know when the offer is live!
