Continued success with Salon Mondial du Tourisme
IGLTA
Share
The 37th edition of the Paris Salon Mondial du Tourisme once again confirmed its status as the not-to-be-missed rendezvous for French travelers. More than 105,000 visitors passed through the trade show doors earlier this month, a 5.5% increase in traffic over 2011. For the third year, the LGBT corner hosted IGLTA and its members, including Suite Novotel, Gay Provence, media partner Têtu Magazine and website MyGayTrip. The Salon was also the occasion for the official launch of Paris Gay Metropole, created in February by a group of local tourism professionals to promote Paris and its metropolitan area as an LGBT-friendly tourism destination. IGLTA welcomed members at a networking reception hosted by the 20 Prieuré Hotel and PG Evenements with prizes offered by Chic Outlet Shopping® and La Vallée Village. Photos by Eric Lahurte photography are posted on IGLTA Facebook pages.
