As 2014 comes to a close, the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association would like to wish its members, partners, and other industry professionals a safe and happy holiday season. As we reflect on the past year for the industry, we would like to provide the readers of the IGLTA eNewsletter a look at some of the most accessed articles from the year. From 23 April: Which countries are the most homophobic? Which countries are the most accepting of homosexuality? The Pew Research Center's Global Attitudes Project recently polled about 1,000 people in each of 40 countries and asked them, "Do you personally believe that homosexuality is morally acceptable, morally unacceptable, or is it not a moral issue?"

8. Los Angeles, host city for IGLTA 2015, tops list as most LGBT-friendly US city

From 18 June: Los Angeles tops the list of U.S. cities most friendly to lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people, according to a newly compiled "Queer Index" released by an online news site. New York, San Francisco and Des Moines followed, said Vocativ, a site that uses its technology to mine Internet data.
