    Panelization
    Advanced Assembly
The majority of board manufacturers create boards in large panels. These panels can include different designs or simply one design repeated many times. Depending on the end client’s requirement, manufacturers can cut the panels into individual boards. If you would like more control over what the manufacturer does with the boards, we recommend panelizing printed circuit boards yourself. Though this may require more upfront work, if a design is going to be mass-produced and assembled, panelizing boards is a good idea.

Smartphones spur shift in small and medium display panel demand
    EIN-007
Ongoing improvements in smartphone display performance is leading to increasing demand for high-resolution panels with lower power consumption requirements, which are not supported by the most common legacy technologies (non-crystalline thin-film silicon or a-Si for short). According to IHS Inc., the leading global source of critical information and insight, overall global shipments of small and medium (nine-inches or smaller) a-Si TFT panels are forecast to decline 7 percent year over year in 2015, to reach 1.6 billion units.

    What is good quality graphene?
    Printed Electronics World
It is increasingly common to hear that one graphene is higher quality than another, or that one graphene is really just thin graphite re-branded as graphene to exploit the hype. It has become a point of contention and also differentiation. Clearly, there are many types of graphene on the market. And this is no surprise because the properties of graphene vary depending on the production method, of which there are many.

Developing high-speed interconnects for data-rich applications
    ECN
Like NASCAR drivers, today's electronic device designers have a need for speed. Resource-intensive applications demand higher data transmission speeds, and connector suppliers are creating systems that deliver those data rates. For example, specifications for CDFP 2.0 interoperable hot pluggable interconnect modules were released in September 2014 that enable data rates of 25 Gbps over 16 lanes, for an aggregate data transmission speed of 400 Gbps.
