CDC Director visiting Kansas May 6 and 7 to increase awareness of HPV Vaccine

Melinda Wharton, M.D., MPH, Director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) is visiting Kansas to bring awareness to the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine.

USPSTF still recommends mammography for women 50-74

That's why the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) reassessed the evidence on breast cancer screening for its latest draft recommendation, released April 21.
