AAFP website security enhancement
AAFP
Late this week, a security enhancement will be implemented on the AAFP website to keep security systems up-to-date for members, chapter staff, and other website users. The process will ensure that all personal information including name, home address, email address, and member ID is protected. After the security update is completed, all current website users will be prompted to create a new password the next time they log into the AAFP website. The process is simple, fast, and similar to other website security measures. The new password must contain at least eight characters with at least one uppercase character, one lowercase character, and one number. Each user will also be asked to set up a security question and response.

KDHE Office of the Secretary
Suggested framework for medical management of persons at elevated risk for invasive listeriosis who are potentially exposed to Listeria monocytogenes. This framework may be particularly relevant at this time of year, as the incidence of gastrointestinal illness and respiratory illness, including influenza, tends to increase. Given the overlapping symptom complexes between listeriosis and diseases which may become more prevalent in the coming weeks, it is important for clinicians to consider potential listeriosis exposure risks in light of this recall.
