The AAFP will be holding Direct Primary Care Workshops that will be limited to 100 registrants at each event. The Direct Primary Care Workshops are a non-CME educational offering intended to provide primary care physician participants with a robust working understanding of the direct primary care model, help attendees determine if the direct primary care model is right for them and offer practical guidance for adopting the direct primary care model.

KDHE Ebola Preparedness and Response Plan has been updated

The Kansas Ebola Preparedness and Response Plan has been updated to reflect the change in terminology of KDHE PPE guidance: "optimal" and "minimal" have been changed to "Tier 1" and "Tier 2." Guidance of the handling of human remains of Ebola patients has been updated. The plan has also been broken into sections on the KDHE Ebola Virus Disease Web page.
