Important changes to the 2013 compliance supplement and data collection form
BKDForensics.com
Each year, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and federal agencies review and make changes to the Compliance Supplement, which summarizes important compliance requirements to assist auditors in performing audits in compliance with OMB Circular A-133, Audits of States, Local Governments and Non-Profit Organizations. It also can be a good resource for entities that administer federal programs. The 2013 supplement was issued in July and is effective for audits of fiscal years ending on or after June 30, 2013. It supersedes the 2012 supplement. OMB made key changes in the 2013 supplement; every entity and individual administering federal grant or loan programs needs to be aware of these changes.
