NACD Signs Industry Letter Asking President to Appoint Mediator to Resolve West Coast Port Labor Dispute
On Dec. 23, NACD joined dozens of other organizations in sending a letter to President Barack Obama asking him to appoint a federal mediator to expedite negotiations in the labor dispute between the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) and the Pacific Maritime Association. Revocation of Significant New Uses of Metal Salts of Complex Inorganic Acids

Hours of Service of Drivers — Notice of Suspension of Enforcement

FMCSA suspends enforcement of certain sections of the Agency's Hours of Service (HOS) rules as required by the Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2015, enacted December 16, 2014. Specifically, FMCSA suspends the requirements regarding the restart of a driver's 60- or 70-hour limit that drivers were required to comply with beginning July 1, 2013.
