Earlier this month, the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) and the Pacific Maritime Association (PMA) sent out dueling press releases blaming each other for the continued delays and disagreements. The industry coalition that has been working for months to encourage resolution of these issues, including NACD, sent a letter Jan. 16 to both the ILWU and PMA with a copy to the mediator.
