NACD continues to grow! We proudly welcomed nine new members and affiliates to our ranks at the end of the year. The addition of these companies demonstrates that NACD's mission continues to deliver value to distribution and its supply chain partners. With these new participants, NACD represents nearly 420 companies.

"Our members continue to show consistently better safety ratings than nonmember companies in the industry. Distributors in the United States and beyond have found value in our advocacy and Responsible Distribution program as well as member networking and educational programming. In 2013, we will continue to advance our mission and are encouraged by our sustained membership growth," said Chris Jahn, president of NACD.

NACD members remain focused on safety and performance
Share   Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
Celebrate your success! The 2012 Membership and Safety Report, based on 2011 data, showed NACD member companies had a 13 percent increase in sales over the prior year and added several billion dollars to the tax base, contributing significantly to the U.S. economy.

NACD members remained focused on safety and performance through Responsible Distribution, safely and securely delivering products to customers who represent virtually every industry sector in the United States. Safety performance remained better than their peers in the chemical distribution industry and nearly twice as good as all manufacturing combined, based on the most current data available.

NACD began the Membership & Safety Data Project in 2001 to publicly report membership performance within measurable areas of health and safety. This report helps quantify the positive impact of Responsible Distribution and demonstrate the strong environmental, health, safety and security commitment made by NACD member companies through Responsible Distribution.

Make sure you have a copy of this Report in your files and talk to your supply chain partners about your role in these great results. Click here to view the 2012 Membership & Safety Report.
