    New Blog Post: The Time Is Now for TSCA Modernization
    On Tuesday, Senators David Vitter, R-LA, and Tom Udall, D-NM, introduced legislation that would modernize the nearly 40-year-old Toxic Substances Control Act. Champions of similar legislation last Congress, Senators Vitter and Udall have once again offered a balanced and effective measure that modernizes TSCA to assess the safety of chemicals through a risk-based approach, prioritizes chemical reviews to ensure the safety of each of the chemicals of highest concern is evaluated and requires a national approach to chemical management.
