CHEMICAL EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION (CEF)

State You Be The Chemist Challenge competitions conclude
This past weekend, CEF held 13 successful state You Be The Chemist Challenge® competitions. As of May 1, 26 of the 27 total National Challenge Participants have been determined! (State Challenge photos are now online.)

CEF would like to thank all of the NACD members who organized, sponsored, and volunteered with this year's Local and State You Be The Chemist Challenge® competitions. Without all of your support, the 2012-2013 Challenges could not have been the success that they were. Thanks to all of your efforts, CEF has been able to grow participation in the competition at a higher rate than ever before, engaging more and more students in the sciences at an early age!

As the last of the State Challenges conclude, CEF would love for you to join us in cheering on your state's winning participant at the National Challenge! The event will take place on June 24 at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia. Registration information is now available online!

Do your employees trust you?
Fast Company
The ability to build trust is a defining competency for leaders. For this reason, it's a good idea to assess yourself in all four of these areas to discover if you might be contributing to low-trust relationships through behaviors that are seen as less than able, believable, connected and dependable.
