Federal Railroad Administration to Speak at Central Region Meeting

On June 13, members and affiliates at the central region meeting will hear from a regional federal railroad administration representative who will discuss shipper responsibilities, tank car inspections, and common inspection deficiencies. Following this presentation Frank Reiner, president of the Chlorine Institute will address common carrier liability, rail competition and other shipper/distributor rail advocacy issues. The Northeast Region will be hosting a complimentary luncheon for members and Affiliates at the Union League in downtown Philadelphia on June 26 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. While enjoying a wonderful lunch and networking time with our peers, we will hear from an expert on environmental, health and safety issues. Following lunch, Tom Coyne has offered to host those interested in a tour of the Union League and the new Civil War Museum.

Each of these students will travel to Philadelphia to enjoy a fun-filled weekend of science celebration and compete against 21 other state representatives at the National Challenge on June 25! More
