New Blog Post: Stop Railroading the Chemical Industry
On April 30, a coalition of 27 manufacturing, agriculture, energy, and chemical industry groups sent a letter to Reps. John Boehner, R-Ohio, and Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., urging them to take steps to reform our nation's policies toward rail transportation. CEF Leads Hands-On Science Activities at Local STEM Carnival
On May 14, CEF staff members volunteered at the DC Young Professionals Kiwanis club annual spring carnival at the Rita Bright Youth Center. This year's carnival theme was STEM education. CEF ran several chemistry activity stations, helping 150 middle school students learn about polymers by making goofy putty and tie-dye their own t-shirts to discover the property of solubility!
