Registration Now Open for Chemical Security Summit — July 31-Aug. 1 in Baltimore

Registration is open for the 2012 Chemical Sector Security Summit, which will take place July 31-Aug. 1, at the Baltimore Convention Center. If you would like to attend, please register right away by clicking here and filling out the online form. Space for the Summit is limited and high interest is expected again this year. Highlights of the Summit will include the latest on Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) implementation; threats to the homeland, including cyber threats; and the opportunity to interact with key officials from the Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies. Show Off! Proudly Display the New Responsible Distribution 'Verified' Logo on your Website

The Responsible Distribution "Verified" logo is available to members and chemical handlers who have passed third-party on-site verification. We've noticed that close to 20 percent of the membership is still using the old logo and/or the term "Responsible Distribution Process." Please help migrate these references to the newer trademarked images.

On our website, your design team can download the current marks in a variety of formats as well as the style guide by clicking here.

REGISTER TODAY to support our future chemists, engineers, doctors and leaders as they compete in the 2012 National You Be The Chemist Challenge® on June 25 at Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. Tens of thousands of students from across the country have competed in industry sponsored Local and State Challenges throughout the school year. The top 22 students, one from each participating state, will come together to compete for the title of National Challenge Champion!

Following the competition, CEF will hold its 2nd Annual Challenge Celebration dinner for participants, family members, educators, sponsors and industry members. The dinner will take place at the National Constitution Center and will include an award ceremony for the participants, live entertainment and a chance to mingle with fellow industry members!
