CEF Featured by Science Friday Show!
Last week, the Chemical Educational Foundation® (CEF) partnered with the public radio show Science Friday to post a hands-on science activity on the Science Friday blog. The activity, called Balloon Rockets, is just one of dozens contained in the You Be The Chemist® Activity Guides: Lesson Plans for Making Chemistry Fun. Building balloon rockets is a great way for kids to learn about force, thrust and pressure — and to release pent-up summer energy! And it's not just for students — the Science Friday staff tried out the activity in their offices before posting, and as you can see from their site, they had a blast!
