    Call for Committee Volunteers
Our committee members perform a unique role as they deliberate over and select strategies to achieve NACD's mission. They shape collective actions and identify opportunities to mobilize resources. They launch and sustain programs, drive active participation from the membership, and expand the recognition of the association and its membership. Without them, NACD can't achieve its mission to enhance and communicate the professionalism and stewardship of the chemical distribution industry. Please consider volunteering your time and experience to one of NACD's committees in 2016 and send your interest to Lucinda Schofer at lschofer@nacd.com no later than Friday, Oct. 30.

Most long distance runners pace themselves and know that it is the second half of the race that allows them to finish strong. They know how to conserve energy, deal with lows and not get too high, which are all important cycles that they must learn to go through. Sprinters train for a quick short, burst of energy.
