NACD names Eric Byer as president and COO

Last week at the 42nd Annual Meeting, NACD Chairman Roger Harris announced that it has named Eric Byer as President and chief operating officer of the association effective Jan. 1. Byer comes to NACD from Obadal, Filler, MacLeod & Klein, PLC where he served as senior vice president, leading association programs for the firm's largest clients.

Prior to that, Byer was the chief operating officer and vice president, government and industry affairs at the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) where he lead external affairs and internal operations for the $6.1 million organization.

His experience in elevating the association's presence and influence with Congress, regulatory agencies and among industry leaders will further NACD's strategic initiatives," said Roger Harris, chairman of the board and president/CEO Producers Chemical Company.
