Flaunt your certification in your proposals, website, marketing and be recognized on www.NADRA.org. All NADRA Members who complete this course will be mentioned in NADRA's blog and weekly news brief!

Class description:

Understanding the Existing Structure by Glenn Mathewson will describe the various and unexpected ways a new deck can affect the structure it serves. Mechanical and electrical systems, egress windows and exterior wall coverings, for example, must all be understood and evaluated before construction begins. Understanding the Existing Structure will get you thinking outside of the box, and understanding how a deck is about much more than just the deck.

The opportunities presented in Providence, R.I., through the efforts of your association are not to be missed, as the courses outlined above will be the building blocks on which all NADRA certifications are based. Don't be left the odd guy out when homeowners are measuring you up against the rest. In the coming months, your association will be rolling out more education and credentialing opportunties involving more manufacturers in more cities. And these courses are sure to sell out. So get on board today, and get a leg up on the competition.

Online registration opens this week! Learn more by visiting www.NADRA.org!

Cost pressures building on builders
Chicago Tribune    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
With interest rates at near rock-bottom levels, most people realize that it's only a matter of time before loan costs start to rise. And the rumblings of that natural phenomenon are already being felt in most building-product categories. More

San Antonio Express-News    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
With the economy starting to recover, consumers feel better about spending again - and that spare cash is going back into their homes. Home remodeling is on an upswing after the industry's worst slump since at least the early 1960s. Scores of foreclosed properties need a ton of TLC, prompting buyers to renovate those tired or tattered spaces. Many other homeowners want to improve because they don't plan to move - either by choice or by circumstance. More
