High school football coach benches entire team for character issues
TODAY
VideoBriefA Utah high school football coach suspended his entire team recently, and it had nothing to do with their performance on the field. Matt Labrum, the head coach at Union High School in Roosevelt, Utah, benched all 50 of his players because of character issues. Coach keeps Groveport Madison, Ohio, football players focused on classes
The Columbus Dispatch
On most days, Groveport Madison, Ohio, High School's football team starts practice in the cafeteria. Before team members gear up for the football field, they have to check in with assistant coach Kaeri King, who monitors their homework assignments, follows their test schedules and connects players with tutors for extra academic help. STACK
The exercises you perform in the weight room will increase your size and strength, but they won't necessarily make you a better athlete. The vast majority of exercises athletes perform involve moving their body or weight up and down in the vertical plane of motion. The problem is, sports are played horizontally.
