EZcorp revenue hits record in 1Q

EZcorp Inc. posted an 11 percent jump in revenue for the first quarter, a record for the Austin, Texas-based company, but saw profits fall 22 percent during the quarter. It reported $30.7 million in profit on $277.1 million in revenue during the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2012, compared with a $39.5 million profit on $248.9 million in revenue during the same three months in 2011.
