A pawnbroker was arrested for allegedly violating bookkeeping laws. According to Chaffee County Undersheriff John Spezze, Michael Eugene Shaffer, 53, the owner of Mountain Pawn and Gun in Salida, Colo., was arrested for investigation of 455 counts of violation of required acts of pawnbrokers because he could not produce documentation required by state law.
