CBS Reality lines up 'Hardcore Pawn'

Chello Zone has acquired all nine series of the U.S. reality TV show Hardcore Pawn for its CBS Reality network in Poland and one of its EMEA feeds. CBS Reality will air all nine series of the TruTV show across Poland, and its feed covering Cyprus, Hungary, Romania, the Middle East and Africa. The first season will premiere on CBS Reality in Poland in June, with all subsequent seasons airing back to back in primetime.

DNA leads to arrest in Louisiana pawnshop burglary

About a year ago, a burglar broke into Pelican Pawn in Baton Rouge, La., and left with more than two dozen firearms and some jewelry — a haul the store's manager put at about $25,000. The burglar fled the store the same way he entered — through a hole cut in the roof — but not before leaving behind some important clues: two spots of blood at the entry point and a glove on the floor that also had blood on it, court records show.

Homeland Security bulletin warns 3-D printed guns may be 'impossible' to stop

A new Department of Homeland Security intelligence bulletin warns it could be "impossible" to stop 3-D printed guns from being made, not to mention getting past security checkpoints. A May 21 bulletin distributed to numerous state and federal law enforcement agencies and obtained by FoxNews.com states that the guns, which can be made by downloading blueprints into cutting edge computers that mold three-dimensional items from melted plastic, "poses public safety risks" and are likely beyond the current reach of regulators. The guns threaten to render 3-D gun control efforts useless if their manufacture becomes more widespread.

4 wanted in Red Dawn Gun and Pawn Shop burglary in Georgia

Marietta, Ga., police are trying to identify four suspects that burglarized the Red Dawn Gun and Pawn Shop. Four men smashed the front glass door to the pawnshop in an attempt to steal firearms. One suspect broke the glass with a hammer while another suspect was armed with a semi-automatic pistol, according to reports.

Pawnshops in Seoul have developed a new clientele, as younger and more affluent customers are turning to the previously shunned businesses when in need of quick loans. According to the Financial Supervisory Service and the Korea Federation of Savings Banks, there were more than 400 pawnbrokers dealing in luxury goods in Seoul and other major cities as of this year — a vast transformation from the early 2000s when pawning items such as Coach bags and Rolexes was virtually non-existent.

Thief accused of trying to pawn 8-year-old cancer survivor's bike

Dylan Mingus, 23, was caught on surveillance cameras at a Bardstown, Ky., pawnshop trying to sell two bikes. One of them belonged to Lainey Di Angelo, 8, who is in remission after being diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphona in 2011. She got her bike at a party celebrating her last session of chemo.
