St. Paul Pioneer Press    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
Social workers and the mentally ill, construction workers on public projects, state office workers, the unemployed - many folks are negatively affected when state government shuts down. So who, if anyone, benefits? The wide-ranging answer likely includes malls, second-run movie theaters, city parks and libraries, at least in the short term.
