Just about every industry took a hit from the recent recession and most businesses are still struggling to rebound. That is, except for pawnshops. Interestingly enough, they have actually been on the upswing ever since our economy took a turn for the worse. In both the good times and the bad, however, pawnshop owners are down in the trenches with their customers which may give them the most authentic and uncensored look into the true state of our economy. Reality TV show asks Florida pawnshop to change it's name

A Florida businessman whose pawn shop bears a name almost identical to one featured in a popular cable show might have to make a change, according to a report. Frank Bishop, who owns Pawn Star received a cease-and-desist letter from attorneys for the A&E hit show "Pawn Stars," Hernando Today reported. More
