Thieves targeting tires and wheels in pawn shops

Pawnshops are having a difficult time slowing down thieves. Goodride Auto Care in North Little Rock, Arkansas, had more than $25,000 worth of goods stolen, and Arch Street Pawn Shop in Pulaski County says they've been experiencing robbers as well. "Me and my brother have been switching off staking out up here," said shop owner Brett Carter.

IRS again investigating pawnshop owners

Federal authorities have moved to forfeit cash and silver bars from an imprisoned pawnshop owner and his wife as part of an ongoing investigation of the business. The criminal investigation division of the IRS is investigating Gary and Tonia Vaughn, who run Gary's Steals and Deals in Somerset and other shops in Blair and Cambria counties.
