Phoneix-area pawnshop owner talks about I-10 arrest

The owner of a Phoenix-area pawnshop is speaking out about the arrest of the I-10 shooter. "I believe it was Wednesday that DPS put two guns on hold," said Eric Baker. The past few days have been a whirlwind for Eric Baker, co-owner of Mo Money Pawn in Phoenix. His pawn shop was suddenly making national headlines in connection to the I-10 Freeway Shootings that terrorized valley drivers.

Man gets 3 years in attempt to sell gold bar stolen in heist

A 26-pound gold bar stolen in a still-unsolved North Carolina truck heist wound its way into the hands of a Miami pawn shop owner, and the man who tried to sell it there was sentenced to more than three years in prison. Miguel Bover, 49, was not involved in the March 1 robbery of 275 pounds of gold bars worth $4.8 million from a truck along Interstate 95 in North Carolina.

Can Cash America International, Inc. go to $33?

The most aggressive analyst according to Zack’s Research has a short term price target of $33 on Cash America International, Inc. shares. When taking into account all of the research brokage firms polled by Zacks, the consensus price target sits at $28. This is based on the six providing one-year targets on the shares. On the contrary, the most bearish, or conservative analyst has a one year target of $19.

Metals report: Fed dove edition

The much-anticipated Fed meeting last week was incredibly dovish. We expected a "hold" but a bit of hawkishness from the dot plots, press conference or future implications. Instead, the meeting showed little indication that this committee is in any hurry to get off the zero-rate lower bound and begin rate normalization. One of the dot plots even implied outright negative rates expected for the end of this year and beginning of next before rising to 1 percent in 2017.

Sony virtual reality experience was once an example of how lack luster VR as a technology was. As you'll see in the video, things have changed. Playing demos of PlayStation VR for the last three years has shown me how rapidly the quality of the experience on PlayStation has grown. Connecticut housekeeper accused of stealing, pawning $400,000 in jewelry

A housekeeper who has worked for a Connecticut home for 18 years been arrested, accused of stealing almost $400,000 worth of jewelry from her client, according to police. Police started investigating on May 25, when a resident of Judy Point reported that a large amount of jewelry had been stolen from her home in Westport, as well as from two of her safes.

We were very bullish on gold starting from 2002 and our bullishness continued until the beginning of 2011. In 2011, we started to voice concern as the gold camp was chanting “Kumbaya my love," and almost every Tom, Dick and Harry in the gold market were all busy issuing higher targets. Towards the middle of 2011, there were many signs that all was not well.

Pawnshop owner convicted of drug trafficking

A man from Pounding Mill, Virginia, is headed to jail for selling drugs out of the pawnshop he owns. Bobby Wayne Stevenson, 58, pleaded no contest, to three separate counts of dealing narcotics, plus charges of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Child Endangerment.
