Trial starts today in 2010 robbery, slaying of 19-year-old pawnshop worker in North Carolina

Nearly four years ago, 19-year-old Kyle Harris was shot and killed while working a part-time job as a clerk in a pawnshop in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Jury selection for one of the two people charged in his death is scheduled to get underway in Cumberland County Superior Court. Cedric Theodis Hobbs Jr., 33, a roofer from Dearing, Georgia, is charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery and kidnapping. If convicted of the murder charge, he could face the death penalty.

Deputies in Kentucky searching for 3 men involved in violent pawnshop robbery

Martin County Sheriff's deputies in Kentucky said they're investigating a case where a man was beaten and robbed at a pawnshop in Inez. Sheriff Garmon Preece said it appears to have been a fight started by several of the man's cousins.
