Brent Montgomery, owner of Leftfield Pictures, had a breakout hit with "Pawn Stars" on The History Channel, but instead of selling his growing company he decided to stay independent. He's juggling over a dozen series (American Resoration, Oddities, and Counting Cars, to name a few), and Leftfield also acquired Sirens Media, which produces a little show called "The Real Housewives of New Jersey", and last spring they launched the new joint venture Loud TV, run by former Leopard Films USA President Nick Rigg.

Editorial: Pawnshop rules need to be tightened in Springfield, Mass.
The Republican
Imagine this scenario: You've just returned to the Massachusetts' City of Homes after a two-week vacation – only to find your house ransacked and your jewelry gone, including a gold and diamond bracelet once owned by your grandmother. The police arrive, take the report and start an investigation that often begins at the local pawnshop. If the burglary happened on the first day you were away, recovering the stolen items is unlikely under current regulations that only require pawnshop and junk dealers to hold the goods for 10 days.

Be aware of counterfeit coins
Brigantine Beachcomber via Shore News Today
