 In response to a steady increase in shooter registration for the Annual Kolar Mid-America Open, we elected to change the format of the 2011 shoot to 3 1/2 days. This would be Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, leaving Monday as a travel day. The change in format allows an additional 25 shooters to participate, while leaving the number of
flights at six per day. All shooters will be re-registered as of the post marked date of the original registration. NSCA Rule Clarification Regarding HOA Punches NSCA Share
Section III-2-a-2 of the 2011 NSCA Rule Book page 16 under HOA reads the following: To clarify this statement, a shooter will not receive a HOA punch if he/she received punches in class. Example: John Smith is a AA Class shooter and he wins HOA with a 95/100. There were three (3) shooters in AA Class including John. John will receive one (1) punch total from that event. If there were only two (2) AA Class shooters, then John still would receive one (1) punch for winning HOA. 2011 NSCA Big Blasts NSCA Share

 The 2011 NSCA US Open will be held May 17-22 at the M&M Hunting Preserve and Sporting Clays in Pennsville, N.J. Currently 1,030 shooters are registered for the event. The 2011 US Open marks the 20th Anniversary for NSCA US Opens. The Matarese Family has made several renovations to the property in preparation for this grand event. The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation announced that six former Scholastic Clay Target Program National Champions are competing as members of The USA Shooting Team at the ISSF World Cup Championships being held in Sydney, Australia, from March 22nd through April 1st. SCTP is the Official Clay Target Youth Development Program of USA Shooting. |
